A unique code
Assigned automatically when the product is created, ready to print.
Products and barcodes
It all starts with the product record. It holds the price, the brand, the supplier and, above all, a unique code printed on a label the scanner recognises instantly.
The product record
Assigned automatically when the product is created, ready to print.
The cost price, to know your margin and stock value, and the displayed selling price.
To keep the catalogue tidy and find a product in a few keystrokes.
Where the product is bought, carried over when stock comes in.
A photo of the product and the details sales staff need.
The quantity in store, updated by stock in, stock out and sales.
Codes and labels
Each product's code is printed on a label, as a standard barcode or as a QR code. Once stuck on the item, the label is all it takes to sell it: staff scan, the till does the rest.
The catalogue
No: the application assigns a code to each new product automatically. All that is left is to print the label.
Both are read by the same 2D scanner. Barcodes are the most common; a QR code fits on a very small label, which is handy for jewellery or frames.
We install Zebra label printers, such as the ZD421t and the GK420d, and ZKTeco printers. See the labelling hardware.
Access to screens depends on each user's role: you decide with us what sales staff can see.
Stock in and out, transfers, stock value.
Scan-based sales, payment and receipt.
Tills, scanners and printers, sold and installed.
We show you how a product is created and its label printed, from code to scan.
